You can play a role as a citizen and business for space, earth and ocean research exploration.

Partners for Stennis & Michoud is a volunteer group who support space, earth, ocean research and exploration. Our members are from regional Chambers of Commerce, businesses, educational institutions, local governments, Stennis and Michoud agencies and direct support companies, economic development foundations, and community groups. We are individual citizens who desire to encourage development of the I-10 Technology Corridor Region that connects Stennis Space Center and Michoud Assembly Facility. Partners promotes the economic, technical, and academic growth and stability of these two NASA assets through projects which insure that government decision makers, business interests, and interested citizens know of the value and importance of the Center and Facility.

Employee Relocation & Business Assistance

Through Partners you can learn about meetings, events and marketing opportunities to connect your business to Stennis Space Center and the Michoud Assembly Facility. Members of Partners can also provide relocation assistance to new employees your company is recruiting to the area.

Citizens for Space Exploration

A multi-state organization comprised of U.S. taxpayers who support America’s investment in space exploration. Members are private citizens, small business owners, students, teachers, space and non-space business representatives, and county and municipal officials. We strive to promote awareness of the benefits of human space exploration and support NASA and the Vision for Space Exploration. Representatives from Citizens for Space Exploration travel to Washington, D.C. twice a year to meet with members and staff to discuss the benefits of space exploration.

As an active member of Partners for Stennis & Michoud, you can be involved through one or all of the many programs offered. There are a variety of ways members work together to support this volunteer effort.

INFINITY Science Center

A place where visitors have fun exploring the farthest reaches of outer space, the uncharted depths of the oceans and the varied layers of the Earth. The center houses a “Science Express” activity center, an immersive theatre, a Space Gallery and an Earth Gallery. Partners for Stennis & Michoud helps promote awareness of this vital, innovative visitor attraction that broadens appreciation of science to both adults and children.

The NASA Speakers Bureau Program

This program has been established to share how space program technology affects our daily lives. The program at Stennis & Michoud is made up of scientists, engineers, and other employees available for lectures and presentations to civic groups and schools along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and throughout Southeast Louisiana.

Capitol Day

Each year, representatives from Mississippi and Louisiana travel to Jackson, Mississippi to promote the economic impact of Stennis Space Center to the Mississippi Legislature and other state leaders. In February, we also participate in the annual Mississippi Coast Legislative Reception and Capitol Day.
