“On behalf of the members of Partners for Stennis & Michoud, we wish to extend a message of pride and gratitude to the local community at Stennis Space Center and the Michoud Assembly Facility in moving America forward with spacecraft and rockets required to put the first woman and next man on the moon as part of NASA’s Artemis program.  We congratulate the SLS and Orion teams across the country on the successful completion of today’s Green Run Test.  We hold in high esteem the women and men in South Mississippi and Louisiana who have dedicated their lives to this program. We urge every citizen to reach out and congratulate our friends and family who made this momentous event so spectacular for our nation’s future and the future of humankind.”

Statement from Citizens for Space Exploration

We are thrilled that America is moving forward with spacecraft and rockets required to put the first woman and next man on the moon as part of NASA’s Artemis program.  We congratulate the SLS and Orion teams across the country on the successful completion of the Green Run Test and applaud this critical stepping-stone accomplishments! We urge Congress to continue its bi-partisan support for NASA and America’s human space exploration program.
